BOOKING CONDITIONs

Booking your holiday Please telephone to ensure availability. Your booking will then be held for four days to allow for receipt of deposit and booking form

Payment A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the tariff is due at the time of booking, with the balance and damage deposit of £45 due not less than five weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. For reservations made less than five weeks in advance, the full amount becomes payable immediately. Cheques should be made payable to “Atlantic View Bungalows”. Alternatively you may pay by debit card or credit card. Reminders are not issued prior to the balance due date

Arrival and Departure The bungalows are available from 4.00 pm and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the morning of departure. Guests are expected to leave the bungalow clean and tidy, and we reserve the right to make a cleaning charge if the bungalow is left in a less than satisfactory condition

Electricity Each bungalow is all-electric and separately metered by digital meter which will be read on arrival and departure. Electricity consumed is payable before departure and will be charged at cost, plus a 10p per day availability charge.

Bedding All beds have duvets and the linen is provided. Towels are NOT included but may be hired at £3 per set. These towels are not for beach use. We also have available for hire: Travel cot (£10 per week), High chair (£7 per week), Use of sofa bed - inc. bedding (£10 per week), Camp bed - inc. bedding (£10 per week)

Damage Deposit A damage deposit of £45 is payable as part of the final balance. This will be refunded in full within one week of the end of the hire provided there are no breakages, damage or loss, or outstanding charges

Pets Pets are NOT permitted on the property at any time, whether belonging to guests or visitors of guests

Occupancy The accommodation should be used only by the persons booked, and the number of people in any party must not exceed the number for which the bungalow is equipped as shown in our brochure (ie Cormorant 7/8, Guillemot 6, Kittiwake 4/5, Sandpiper 4, Little Auk 3-4 in July/August). However, a small number of day visitors are welcome (if in doubt, please ask). Group bookings will be considered on an individual basis.

Lost Property Whenever economical and practical, items left by guests will be posted back. However we reserve the right to dispose of unclaimed items after one month.

Liability We cannot accept any responsibility for accidents, personal injury or loss, however sustained, in connection with the hire. If, for any reason beyond our control, a bungalow is not available as booked (eg if damage has been caused that cannot be rectified prior to arrival) and we are not able to offer another bungalow with at least the same minimum accommodation, all monies paid in advance will be refunded immediately. However, neither the person booking nor any member of his/her party, will have any further claim against the proprietors. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to provide the advertised facilities, we shall not be held liable for loss of any amenities and no refund will be made.

Cancellation Notice of cancellation must be received in writing not less than five weeks before the commencement of hire, otherwise the person booking will be liable for the full amount. We strongly advise you to take out cancellation insurance and a proposal form will be provided with the booking confirmation. If you cancel, we shall endeavour to re-let the bungalow and, if we are successful, refund any amount paid in excess of the deposit.

We ask all our guests to respect both the property and the comfort of the other guests, and we reserve the right to demand the immediate withdrawal (without recompense) of any persons whose conduct is in our opinion in serious breach of this requirement.
